The purpose of this site is to promote and share information concerning the Arctic lake warming project and climate research in general to those who are interested.
This research project aims to investigate the effects of future climate change on Arctic lake ecosystems via experimental lake warming and coupled lake/climate models. The experimental phase of this project began July 2017.
This is a collaborative research project associated with the NSF Arctic Long Term Research (ARC-LTER) project and is housed out of Toolik Field Station (TFS), on the north slope of the Brooks Range in northern Alaska. Navigate the tabs at the top to learn more about the project, individuals involved, and recent happenings.
